Senator Steve Daines Questions U.S. Trade Representative Nominee Important Pulse Crops And India Tariffs

Montana is the number one producer of pulse crops and India is the number one consumer in the world. During a Senate Finance Committee Hearing Thursday Senator Steve Daines questioned President Biden’s nominee as the U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai asking her if she’d commit to engaging India on removal of tariffs and other trade barriers as she looks toward negotiations.
