Mental Illness on the Rise

As social distancing, stay at home orders, and quarantines become more prevalent, a second health issue is on the rise.  1 in 5 U.S. adults experiences mental illness. In 2018 The Center for Disease Control and Prevention ranked Montana’s suicide rate at 3rd in the nation and those are pre-pandemic numbers.

Billings – REI Opening Postponed

Washington based outdoor retailer REI was set to open its first store in Billings this spring but the opening date has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. Employees who had been hired in Billings have had their offers rescinded. The new REI was set to employ 55 people.
