Moderna COVID-019 Vaccine Receives Emergency Use Authorization Thanks To Original CARES Act Funding $10 Million For Trials And Manufacturing

The vaccine made by Moderna has received emergency use authorization by the Food and Drug Administration and will be distributed immediately. Its accelerated delivery was made possible as a result of Senator Steve Daines securing an initial $10 billion in the CARES Act in March to enable vaccine manufacturing and clinical trials to proceed simultaneously.
