The Montana Coalition for Public Safety will push for criminal-justice system reform during the upcoming Montana legislative session. Dave Herbst state director of the conservative free-market group Americans for Prosperity-Montana says the coalition wants to shorten the time folks are beholden to the system which includes pre-trial reforms so more people can stay in their communities as well as changes to the parole system.
