If Montanans Don’t Fill Out Census Data Forms Money Designated To Montana Will Go To Other States

Montana received $3 billion from 55 federal programs that use census data in 2016. According to a George Washington University study author Andrew Reamer if communities are under counted and states get less money as a result the funds don’t go back to the Treasury but are simply allocated to every other state.
