Great Falls – Commission Approves Bond Sale

The Great Falls City Commission has OK’d the final details of a $3.2 million bond sale needed to repay developer West Bank LLC its upfront costs for public improvements tied to the West Bank Land development. D.A. Davidson and Company will handle the bond sale for the city’s project on the west bank of the Missouri River.

Investigation Ongoing for Fire Near Plains

Western Montana firefighters are doing mop up work on a 40-acre wildfire on the Henry Creek drainage about 5 miles east of Plains on the Lolo National Forest. The cause has not been determined for the fire which was located about 2 miles behind a U.S. Forest Service gate. An investigation is ongoing.
