Record Unemployment Claims
Montana has experienced a record filing for unemployment claims. From March 30th through April 3rd the state paid out $7.9 million to 24,646 claimants. Yellowstone County saw a 654% increase year over year and Gallatin County had an increase of 982%.
Virginia City – Closure of RV Parks and Short Term Rentals
Madison County Health Officials have ordered the closure of Hotels, RV Parks, and Short-Term Rentals amid the coronavirus pandemic. The County’s Board of Health has approved an order that prohibits people from staying in the area. The order is in effect until April 30th or whenever the state’s stay at home order expires.
