The Chelsea Baily Animal Shelter in Butte will deliver free dog and cat food to pet owners who are unable to leave their mining city home due to the coronavirus pandemic. People can call in what they need in the morning and animals control will drop off the  pet food at the residence after 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

2 Year Extension Granted on Timber Sales

The United States Department of Agriculture will be providing all timber sale contract holders with a two-year extension. The relief for the wood products industry  will provide stability during the coronavirus pandemic. This follows a direct request to USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue from Senator Steve Daines.
