Body Found in Missouri River

A body found in the Missouri River south of Great Falls Wednesday is that of Amy Harding-Permann. The 34 year old nurse who died of accidental drowning had been missing since Jan. 26th. About 170 people had volunteered to help search the area previously. The investigation is completed and the case is now considered closed.

Streamflow Forecasts Above Average

State hydrologists are optimistic about Montana’s deep mountain snowpack heading into spring runoff season which usually peaks this time of year at low and mid-elevations. As a whole streamflow forecasts across the state are near to slightly above average for the April 1st through July 31st period.
