In March, the City of Billings issued 554 building permits worth a total of $21,436,788 in construction value. According to the Big Sky Journal that brought the year to date number to 1028 compared to 252 last year. Last March 118 permits were issued.

Montana added 18 known cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 299. Six people in the state have died and 24 have been hospitalized with coronavirus. With 116 positive tests, Gallatin County has the most cases in the state. Yellowstone County is the second highest with 40 cases.
