Feral Hogs Action Plan and Research on the Pronghorns

(40 minutes) Efforts are underway to prevent the wild swine from getting a hoof-hold in Montana.  In the words of one researcher, they are “ecological train wrecks.” Join Voices host Tom Schultz, Montana State Veterinarian Marty Zaluski, and Montana Wildlife Federation Conservation Director Nick Gevock in a discussion on the problems this invasive species presents, and the action plans in place to prevent its proliferation.

Also on the show, Bob Gibson, from Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks talks about a new five-year research plan to learn more about a species unique to North America, the pronghorn antelope.
