Battling Homelessness at the GFRM
(39 minutes) Homelessness is battled by both private and public organizations, not to mention the 1500 to 2000 or more Montanans that experience homelessness at any given time. Also, upwards of 3000-4000 students in Montana public schools may experience homelessness throughout the year. What causes homelessness? What’s being done to help our homeless population?
In the first of our three-part “No Place Like A Home for the Holidays” series we talk with Jim McCormick, Executive Director of the Great Falls Rescue Mission. Listen to the podcast to hear Jim describe how GFRM works to meet the needs of the homeless and the hurting, the challenges faced by our homeless population, and the stories of those who have overcome.
